December has already given us a taste of how frigid winter in Wyoming can be. This Friday, we will be given another blast of snow and sub zero temps.

According to the folks at Wunderground, Casper will be getting 5-8 inches of snow starting Friday. Chance of precipitation is 100% at this point. Morning temperatures will only reach about 13 degrees with temperatures quickly dropping to 0 degrees. Friday night will be frigid with a low of -21 degrees.

The snow is predicted to subside Friday night, but temperatures will remain below zero for Saturday.

Forecasts are always subject to change, but the weekend is looking to be cold and snowy regardless.

Just one week ago, Casper set a new record low temperature for December, 8th with temps dropping to -31 degrees. The previous record was -29 degrees.
