A Few Thunderstorms in the South Today; Moisture Moves into the West Friday and Saturday
It will be a bit cooler across the state today. More comfortable temperatures will top off mainly in the 80s statewide.
A little moisture drifting up from the south will trigger a handful of thunderstorms along and to the south of I-80 this afternoon and this evening. Other portions of the state will be mainly dry.
On Friday, southwest flow in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere will bring a return chance for showers and thunderstorms to western counties. Then the edge of a cold front will move into the west on Saturday allowing for additional thunderstorms and showers to form.
