Most of the time, they are the very first voice you'll hear before you begin interacting with police, fire or ems, when you're having an emergency and need assistance. 9-1-1 operators are extremely important to communities. They interact with callers, that may be going through the biggest crisis of their lives, and are the ones that direct emergency responders to get to you and are can be considered the quarterback of the emergency response world. They guide each party of the emergency response team to get to the locations they need to be, all while keeping the communication clear and open.

You'll learn the ins and outs of how to properly handle crisis calls, relaying accurate information, keeping track of the status of on-duty safety agents, and directing the overall emergency response.
