It's either a really funny mystery or a really intriguing comedy, but it has something for everyone wrapped up in a Holiday theme. "The Games Afoot, or Holmes For The Holiday" continues its run at Stage III Community Theatre in Casper.

"Whether you're a 'whodunit' fan or a comedy fan, you'll find something to like in this show," said the play's director Pat Greiner.

The play, by Ken Ludwig, is set in 1936.  Famed actor William Gillette, known for playing Sherlock Holmes on stage, is shot and wounded during the curtain call of a show. Two weeks later, he gathers members of his acting company at his newly built mansion for a Christmas celebration, hoping solve the question of who took a shot at him. Add heavy snow, a cast of comical characters and more than one mystery to solve, and you have a night of perfectly timed entertainment.

"We all stress out at the Holidays and we need a little bit of fun," said Greiner. "And there is something that will make you laugh in this show, I guarantee it."
