Abe Lincoln Bust Being Restored in Lander

The bust of President Abraham Lincoln has been removed from its perch overlooking traffic on Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie.

It has been taken to Lander and the Eagle Bronze Foundry. There it will be cleaned, restored and re-coated with a weather resistant product.

The work continues this week after a day of public tours last Friday.
