How often do you wash your jeans?  After each time they are worn? After several days wear?  Well apparently even washing them once is to often!

Chip Bergh, the CEO of Levi's, says the right time to wash your jeans is = never.

Bergh spoke at Fortune Magazine's Brainstorm Green conference recently and told the crowd that the best way to break in jeans is to wear them and never wash them.  According to Chris, jeans get better and better the less you wash them.  Plus he adds, it helps the environment because it saves water and energy if you not washing them.

This speech was at a conference about being green, so maybe he was talking about conserving water?  But incase you were interested in learning how to wear your jeans without washing them, according to a piece on Good Morning America, people who don't wash their jeans recommend spritzing them with vinegar or vodka and then hanging them outside to air out.

Sounds pretty disgusting to me, but I think I'll give it a try... who am I kidding, I don't do laundry anyway! ( Mom, will you wash my jeans please....)
