Hi. I'm the newest member of the K2 Radio news team, which marks the next phase of my three-decade journalism career including reporting for the Casper Star-Tribune from 1992 to 2012. For the past year-and-a-half, I've been taking classes at Casper College including web design, Photoshop, guitar, new media communications, creative writing, field biology, math and Spanish. Before arriving in Wyoming, I worked at papers in Colorado Springs and Beaumont, Texas. My formal education includes earning a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in S. Hamilton, Mass., and a Bachelor of Arts in English Lit from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. I have yet to graduate from the College of Hard Knocks. Avocations and experiences include outdoorsy stuff, traveling by train, tutoring at Casper College's Writing Center, herding a cat named Noir, reading, writing including a couple of published books, acting at Stage III Community Theatre, driving a stock car, dancing, and driving my 1948 MG TC -- "the sports car America loved first." Musical interests range from classical to blues to rock. I fly the flag on my 1919-era house, listen to the Clash, cook, collect antiques, and nurture a curiosity about what's around the next bend. I look forward to reporting again on our wonderful, wild and sometimes wacky Wyoming. Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
