Taking a wild guess, you were probably late for work this morning right?  If you're like me and usually 15 minutes late to everything including work, here are three ways to break the habit and help yourself get there on time.

1.  Stop thinking of the best-case scenario.  If your commute can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, you should always plan on giving yourself at least 30 minutes to get there.  That way you're chronically early and not late.

2.  Stop worrying about getting there "too early."  Some people show up 15 minutes early, and think of it as - I could have slept for 15 minutes.  Instead, think of it as 15 extra minutes to get organized, so the rest of your day goes more smoothly.

3.  Stop doing "one more thing" before you leave the house.  Some things you have to do, like getting your kids off to school or the trash out to the curb.  But you don't have to load the dishwasher before you leave or program the TV to record your favorite show.  So don't try to pack too much into your morning that's outside of your normal routine.
