Blake Shelton is already a Country super star , he's getting married in May and now he's taking on a new career!   The singer has signed on as the fourth and final judge for NBC's new reality talent show, 'The Voice,' joining Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine.

Blake tells theboot.com: "I'm not sure 'The Voice' knows what they signed on for by bringing me on the show," Blake jokes. "I know this for sure, Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and I are going to have a blast and I am extremely excited to be part of a show that recognizes true vocal talent."

This isn't new territory for Blake, who judged the 2008 season of USA's 'Nashville Star,' and mentored 20 singers from Oklahoma City for NBC's 'Clash of the Choirs' in 2007.

Each of the musician coaches on 'The Voice' will pick singers to mentor during blind auditions, based solely on vocal ability, forming four teams. Once the teams are selected, each coach will employ their own entourage -- including producers, songwriters and other famous friends -- to help bring their teams to star-worthy status, with America casting the final vote for the grand prize winners.

The show, which will be hosted by TV veteran Carson Daly, will include three stages of competition. After the blind audition, contestants move on to the battle phase, where each coach spends time with the contestants, honing their craft and helping them develop their skills. During this round, each coach will have two members of their team face-off against each other, singing the same song, with the coach deciding which team member will advance to the next round.

For the final stage, the singers who remain will compete against each other during a live performance, with the television audience able to vote to save one talent on each team. The coach will also have to decide on-air who will not continue to the next episode.

When one contestant per coach remains, each singer will compete in the finale, with the winner earning the title of 'The Voice.' They will also receive a recording contract and $100,000.

'The Voice' will premiere on NBC on April 26 at 9:00 PM ET.

I know I'll be tuning in...how about you?
