Can You Remove A Loose Tooth With A Nerf Gun? [VIDEO]

What should you do when your child has a loose tooth?  In the good ol' days, my dad just reached in and pushed - then pulled on the tooth and it came out.  But there are other means of pulling a loose tooth or helping it to fall out besides going to the dentist.

I think we've all heard or experienced the "tie the tooth to a door knob and slam the door" to remove a loose tooth.  But what about tying a tooth to something simpler, like the dart fired by a nerf gun?  Will that work?
