Carrie Underwood celebrated her 29th birthday over the weekend (Saturday, March 10) with a little help from her friends. The singer’s closest pals treated the mega-star to a little trip down memory lane with a surprise 80s-themed birthday bash in Nashville.

Underwood, who is still relatively new to the Twitter world, apparently had enough fun for herself and her fans — she tweeted multiple pictures of herself smiling her 80s attire. “Best. Birthday. Ever!” she wrote, posting the picture shown here.

Underwood’s “Care Bears” blew up her Twitter page starting late last week, sending her birthday wishes and messages, and Underwood graciously thanked them on the morning of her birthday. “Thank you for all the birthday messages!” she tweeted. “It’s been a great day so far! You all are so good to me!”

The party girl was still on cloud nine when she woke up Sunday morning, and couldn’t help but show fans another darling shot of her from the party, sporting some funky shades as she puckered up for the camera. “Had to share another pic from my surprise ’80′s bday party – so fun!!” she wrote as the caption to the day late photo.

In addition to the new pictures, Underwood fans will have another treat coming to them soon — the singer’s new ‘Good Girl’ video will premiere today, Monday (March 12) on ‘Entertainment Tonight.’ Check out a teaser of what to expect from the clip here.
