The Fort Caspar Museum Association invite you to commemorate the anniversary of the Battles of Platte Bridge and Red Buttes.

It was during the first of these two skirmishes that 20-year-old Lieutenant Caspar Collins, the namesake of our city, lost his life. The event is a joint venture project between the Fort Caspar Museum and the 11th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry living historians and the Fort Caspar Museum association.

All the planned events are free and open to the public, and will be held at Fort Caspar.

Two cavalry demonstrations will be held behind the barracks and other events and programs will be held at the adjacent buildings on the grounds of the Fort Casper Museum.

The Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road. Call the Museum with questions, 307-235-8462, or go to their website: www.fortcasparwyoming.com.
