Casper, WY - Here we are three decades later and celebrating not only one of Casper’s most popular one cent facilities, but one of Wyoming’s most prized assets. The Casper Events Center was funded entirely by the City’s optional 1% sales tax. The construction cost of $22 million was completely paid for when the doors opened on April 17, 1982.

Since 1982, we annually host approximately 250 events per year from small meetings to large ticketed events, and generated an estimated $240,000,000.00 in economic impact in the last 30 years. The CEC is a significant feature for the City of Casper and State of Wyoming. Many citizens who have attended the Events Center have not lived in a time where there was not a venue of this caliber.

The Casper Events Center is the proud home to the Wyoming Cavalry, CNFR, State High School Events, Broadway in Casper Series, Hunting and Fishing Expo, API Chili Cook-Off, Wyoming Women’s Expo, Home and Garden Show, Bridal Extravaganza, and hosts a diverse variety of events from fundraisers, trade shows, and concerts to family shows, sporting events, and conferences.

With a 10,000 seating capacity, the Casper Events Center is “Wyoming’s Center of Entertainment.” Excellent sight lines from all seat locations, walking distance from hotels, low convenience fees, and print-at-home ticketing capabilities provides patrons a superior fan experience. We look forward to continuing to serve the citizens, visitors, promoters, and business partners.

Below is a list of congratulations and accolades from just a few of our business partners and city officials saluting the Casper Events Center’s 30th Anniversary:
