Pedestrian Killed In Collision at Second And Pennsylvania In Casper

An early morning crash near 2nd and Pennsylvania in Casper has claimed the life of a pedestrian.

According to Casper Police, an SUV was westbound on 2nd Street just before 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, and hit a pedestrian crossing northbound on Pennsylvania.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the hospital.  No other details are being released at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.

This is the second time in as many weeks that a vehicle-pedestrian collision has happened in the area.

Two weeks ago, a sixty-five year old woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle, while crossing the street at Second and Beverly.
