The Downtown Development Authority is proud to announce Casper first ever “Noon Year’s Celebration and Mac & Cheese Festival”, Presented by Central Wyoming Counselling Center.

Sunday, December 31st, the public is invited to come to the David Street Station and countdown to the “Noon Year”. The event kicks off at 11am, ends at 2pm, and is free for all ages.

Casper's first ever Mac & Cheese Festival will showcase several local restaurants as they compete to see who is Casper’s Mac & Cheese Champion! There will be 2 categories - people’s choice and a kid’s choice, and your vote for your favorite will determine the winners. Additional bowls of macaroni and cheese will be available for purchase from the competitors. Participating restaurants include Eggingtons, On the Border, La Cocina, Casper's Good Cookin', The Branding Iron, and The Yellowstone Garage, and more.

The Mac & Cheese Festival will take place inside the lobby of The Lyric. David Street Station will host live music by Casper favorite Hagen in the Grainbox, and will lead a community countdown to the noon hour to officially welcome 2018.

This indoor/outdoor event is designed to allow families to have the experience of a new year’s countdown without the late hours. David Street Station will also have some fun outdoor games and activities, so bundle up to play outside! The Lyric will feature arts and crafts that are themed around the New Year.

Thanks to the generosity of the Casper community, the David Street Station space has become a beautiful outdoor event venue in the heart of downtown.
