Casper’s Trails Center Recreates History For Youth

If you're looking for a chance for your kids to step away from the screens and tech, the   National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper can take them on a journey to the past during the free interactive youth program, “Youth Re-enactment" on Saturday, June 16th from 10am to 11am.

Volunteer youth re-enactors will help the kids connect with the past by displaying life as it “used to be— before cell phones, internet, and superheroes," according to the Trails Center.  During the public display, visitors will be able to join in marching, games and even making breakfast.

"This program strives to connect kids to public lands and America’s natural and cultural heritage. Saturday youth programs emphasize hands-on learning. They will run from June 2 through Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and are free to the public. Parents of young children must accompany students throughout the program."
