The Children's Chorale was founded in 1979 with the goal of providing a positive and challenging music experience for singers in the fourth through eighth grades. Over 200 singers audition for the 80 voice chorus, which rehearses weekly September through May, preparing songs in diverse styles and languages. They bring that talent and time to the stage on Tuesday night December 20th at 7PM. This years Christmas show will be at the new Highland Park Community Church and will feature The Childrens Chorale, Alla Breve and Belle Canto.
During the past 30 years, the Chorale has toured throughout Wyoming presenting musical programs for children and community audiences. The young singing ambassadors from Casper have performed in Los Angeles, Billings, Boise, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, Rapid City, Salt Lake City, Spokane, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, Washington D.C. and Vancouver B.C., sharing their love of music and their pride in Wyoming, and this next year have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York as a featured performance act. To that end members are selling raffle tickets for 20$ each or 3 for 50$ with a top prize of a Polaris Sportsman 500 to be given away after the concert on Tuesday. Tickets are available from members of the group and will also be sold at the holiday concert.
The Chorale joined us this morning for a preview of Tuesday night.

The Casper Children’s Chorale is a Non-Profit (501c3) organization, which depends upon community financial support for activities and travel, and for individual singer scholarships so the Chorale is available to all children, regardless of economic background. Donations may be mailed to:
