The Wyoming State Fair is proud to announce that Chris Cagle, a critical and commercial success and true cowboy, is set to perform at the Wyoming State Fair on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. in the Wyoming State Fair Grandstands.

Cagle will bring his “redneck rock and roll” style to the Wyoming State Fair with professional credits that include two gold albums, two No. 1 albums and 12 charted songs.

“Chris Cagle is a great performer who brings energy and a great catalog of music to the Wyoming State Fair,” said James Goodrich, director of the Wyoming State Fair. “We’re excited to continue the momentum we built over the last couple years by bringing yet another great concert experience to the Wyoming State Fair.”

Some of Cagle’s biggest hits include “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out,” “Laredo,” “What a Beautiful Day,” and “Chicks Dig It.” From 2000-2008, Cagle released an almost nonstop catalog of hits that resulted in a scorching hot career. While Cagle stepped away from the industry for a couple of years to reconnect with his roots, he returned to the industry in 2012. His musical character and burning ambition never wavered but today, his personal perspective has mellowed.

“Chris Cagle brings the energy of a newcomer, the wisdom of a veteran in the industry, and a passion on stage that is contagious,” said Goodrich. “We couldn’t be happier that Chris Cagle will perform on August 16th and Trace Adkins will perform on August 12th at the Wyoming State Fair to help make the 102nd an event to remember.”
