CMT Music Awards Tonight

The list of nominees and performers set to appear reads like a country fan magazine front cover.  Some of the hottest acts in Country are set to show up.

Jason Aldean leads all nominations with 4 including the biggie…Video of the Year for My Kinda Party.   Taylor Swift, The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert, The Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum each have 3 nominations in various categories.

In addition to the suspense of the awards themselves, audiences will be treated to a special video (inspired by Thelma and Louise) featrung Miss Taylor Swift and this year’s come-back kid, Shania Twain.

Others appaering on stage include Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Sara Evans, Luke Bryan, Sheryl Crow, Big and Rich, Keith Urban, Sugarland and Toby Keith.

Kid Rock will return as the host.  Catch the broadcast live on CMT in primetime at 6PM Mountain Time.
