The Natrona County School District will be hosting a moderated Parent/Community forum with candidates for the Principal position at Kelly Walsh High School. District officials say it will provide an opportunity for feedback from parents and the community at large.

Longtime Kelly Walsh Principal Brad Diller, who is in his 23rd year in the post, announced that he would retire at the end of this school year.

Applications for qualified candidates are still being accepted through January 18th, 2018. Officials say the targeted selection process includes an interview team made up of representatives from KWHS certified staff, KWHS classified staff, and KWHS student council. "This team works closely with the superintendent in selecting a successful candidate to be recommended to the Board of Trustees," according to an NCSD release.

The public forum will be held on February 1st, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Kelly Walsh High School Auditorium.

In late January NCSD Public Relations will be seeking questions from parents and the community. Those questions will be asked by the moderators during the forum. More information on opportunities to provide feedback will be shared closer to the date of the forum.
