Holy Cow, Batman! Did you just watch our trailer for The Dark Knight Rises? There's another one going on the list. If you've been paying attention to me at all lately, you know I'm super stoked about the movie, The Avengers. It launches this Friday, May 4th, with a midnight screening at Studio City.

The premiere follows an entire Marvel Day, where for only $20 you can watch Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger. Oh yeah!! If I felt that my old bod could still take 12 1/2 plus hours of sitting in a theatre lounger, hot butter, and Twizzlers, I would be all over that...(sigh), but unfortunately I'm not. I've also been reminded that I do have some adult responsibilities. You probably won't think that when you spot me at the premiere. Let's just say that you might be a little "green" with envy...hee, hee...hee.

Preceding the midnight screening, Studio City will be hosting an Avengers party. Doors open at 9 p.m. They'll be costumes, giveaways, contests, and a whole lot of fun. I cannot wait! In fact, I think I'm shaking. You'd better believe I've got my tickets - for the 3D showing, nonetheless. You'd better get yours. Who's with me?!

Countdown...T minus 2 days, 5 hours, and counting. Assemble!

P.S. Here's a little trivia from the IMDB. The voice of The Hulk is none other than current season celebrity apprentice wannabe and former Mr. Universe, Lou Ferrigno. You might remember that Lou played the title role for years on television and also the subsequent TV movies, alongside Bill Bixby. He voiced The Hulk in the movie adaption of The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, and had a cameo role as a security guard in Ang Lee's Hulk.
