'Tis the season!   In honor of Santa's upcoming sleighride, "Cowboy" Troy is serving up his list of the top 10 country Christmas songs.  You owe it to yourselves and your "elves" to give these tunes a listen.

10)  Hard Candy Christmas by Dolly Parton (A heartwarming, touching, and yet kind-of-sad christmas song that I've loved since I started in radio.)

9)  There's A New Kid In Town by George Strait ( It awakens the spiritual feelings and besides... you can't keep a good "George" down.)

8)  Old Toy Trains by Roger Miller (Great song that conjures up all those "little boy" feelings of Christmas.  Roger was made for this holiday!)

7)  Call Me Claus by Garth Brooks (Upbeat, sassy, fun...and every country list should include at least one Garth Brooks song.)

6)  Little Drummer Boy by Crystal Gayle (A beautiful rendition of one of my all-time favorite Christmas Classics)

5)  Do You Hear What I Hear by Vince Gill (See number 6)

4)  Thank God For Kids by the Oak Ridge Boys (Another favorite from my youth that always makes me smile...plus it's a rare one where William Lee Golden sings the lead vocals.)

3)  Rudoph The Red-Nosed Reindeer by Gene Autry (A true classic.  Everyone knows the words and in my opinion, the original "Singing Cowboy" did it best!)

2)  Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee ("Little Miss Firecracker" got us all on our feet for this one and began making country, cool.)

And my number 1 pick is:

1)  'Til Santa's Gone by Clint Black (Cute, sentimental, funny, mentions Santa...a must-have for any "Cowboy" Troy Christmas celebration.)
