Crooks Sell Stolen Cars Then Steal Them Again

From the 'Even More Faith Lost In Humanity' department--brazen criminals, not content with profiting once off of a stolen automobile, list those vehicles for sale on craigslist--and then go and steal them again!  If only these minds could be harnessed for good.

CBS Sacramento has the story.

"'It's a new phenomenon for us,'  said Laura Peck of the Sacramento Police Dept."

So far, it's been confined to the West Coast, involving two cars which were stolen, sold on the online site, and then snatched again.  Both cars have since been reunited with their original owners--for now.  The subsequent buyers of the stolen cars are left to stew in their frustrations.

The search is under way more victims.  Be careful out there, people!
