Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' could've easily been a country song, as Dierks Bentley and his band beautifully proved on NBC's 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.' Dierks was part of the show's week-long tribute to the legendary British rock band, performing the melancholy tune on Thursday's show.

"I was born in 1974, and my sister is three years older than me, so all that '80s music is nostalgic to me," Dierks tells The Boot. "Country music is 90 percent of what I've listened to since I was 17 years old, but Pink Floyd is one of the greatest rock bands of all time ... We'll put some fiddle and steel guitar on 'Wish You Were Here' and Gram Parsons it up and see how it goes."
