We asked the question - Should Wyoming try to attract more immigrants to the Cowboy State?  Lots of people commented and answered our poll question and the results were positively pointed in one direction.

This is not intended to be a political post, but rather a highlight of how Wyoming feels about immigration in light of recent policies that are being debated by our country's leaders and our citizens.

Wyoming has the smallest population of any state in the US and has an even smaller number of immigrant residents. In fact, a recent report by Wallethub shows that Wyoming ranks 47th in the country when it comes to immigrants within our borders.

Wyomingites responded to our poll question and here is what they had to say:

Should Our State Try to Attract More Immigrants to Wyoming?

No - for students and residents - 67%

Yes - for students and residents - 16%

Don't Care Either Way - 7%

Other - 5%

Yes to more students - 1%

Yes to more residents - 1%
