The number of casualties and inherent dangers continue to mount in the three weeks after that devasting earthquake and accompanying tsunami crippled Japan.

Again, we are thankful for the slightest miracle or any good news that can be reported from the ongoing crisis.

Well, here's another one...

This very fortunate dog was just rescued after an incredible three weeks at sea; the U.K. Daily Mail is reporting.  The Japan Coast Guard was surveying from the air and spotted the pooch.  He had managed to survive by living in a "partially submerged house that had been swept out to sea" by the recent disaster.  Good doggie!

We are in desperate need of more stories like this one, as the situation in the country remains dire.
