Dolly Parton and Miranda Lambert have shared "Dumb Blonde," their new collaboration for the new Netflix film Dumplin', and the result is just as harmony-laden and full of country swagger as fans might expect. Press play above to listen to the full track for yourself.

A faithful re-fashioning of Parton's original 1967 recording of the song, Lambert and Parton's duet tells the story of a "dumb blonde" who, sick of being taken advantage of and mistreated in a relationship, proves that she isn't so dumb after all. Lambert's stellar vocals bolster the tune's power and depth as the two iconic country stars sing in close harmony.

"Dumb Blonde" is the latest iconic Parton track to get an update for the new movie, following a strings-heavy re-interpretation of "Jolene" and a duet with pop star Sia on "Here I Am." Parton's star-studded cast of participants in the Dumplin' soundtrack also include artists such as Mavis Staples, Elle King, Alison Krauss and Rhonda Vincent.

Based on the best-selling novel by Julie Murphy, Dumplin' tells the story of a plus-size girl who throws her hat into the ring for a beauty pageant to prove a point to her former beauty queen mother, played by Jennifer Aniston. In addition to reinterpretations of Parton hits -- some of which, like "Dumb Blonde," were previously shared -- the soundtrack also includes six new tunes penned by Parton and longtime collaborator Linda Perry especially for the project. The full soundtrack arrived on Nov. 30 via Dolly Records/RCA Nashville (Sony Music), a week before Dumplin''s release on Dec. 7.
