Drunk Guy Takes Pet Zebra And Macaw For A Ride [VIDEO]

Don't even try to tell us you don't wish you'd been there. This sounds so cool to us when you take out the alcohol factor. And even then it's still kinda cool. An Iowa man has got the whole country talking about his car ride with his pet zebra and pet macaw. Hopefully he can avoid his own stripes on the next pet outing.

Apparently this isn't the first time that the man has taken he and the little lady's pets to the local watering hole.  After all, they love 'em like children, so like good parents they take them down to the Dog House Lounge, which the couple claim allows them to bring the animals inside. You'd think they might feel a little out of place.

After being denied entry with his brood because the establishment was serving food, Jerald Reiter, 55, managed to gather a crowd of onlookers as he attempted to place the exotic animals back on the front seat of his truck. He thinks it was then that someone "ratted" him out. 

The police were called and Mr. Reiter blew an impressive .14 on the liquor scale. That's twice the legal limit in Iowa, kids. The bird more than likely kept his beak closed. Probably a good thing.
