Morrissey got his vegan undies in a bunch about the cast of Duck Dynasty making an appearance on the same episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, so he canceled. Hey! Here's what I got to say about that, Jack.

Good. He is depressing. I would much rather be Happy, Happy, Happy!

This is what Morrissey said in an online post regarding his cancellation,

As far as my reputation is concerned, I can't take the risk of being on a show alongside people who, in effect, amount to animal serial killers. If Jimmy cannot dump 'Duck Dynasty,' then we must step away."

(Honestly, him cancelling his appearance is getting him a ton more publicity than if he actually performed on the show. Plus, I really enjoyed the band "Churchill". So, it was a win all the way around for me.)

Out of curiosity, I wanted to see how they compared on a "Facebook Scale"... Morrissey has less than one million likes, Duck Dynasty has more than three million. It's not scientific, but I conclude that us rednecks got wi-fi, (Phil would hate that), and most of us rednecks probably have no idea who Morrissey is anyway, and probably don't care.

"Duck Dynasty" is about family, and it's good wholesome entertainment. In the last two seasons, I think I may have heard two "beeped" words. (When a snake is in the boat, all men are apt to spout colorful language.) The Robertson Family is a good Christian bunch, and they even end every episode with the family gathered around the supper table, and always giving a couple of words to the Lord. Frankly, I think we could do with a lot more of that on television these days.

I like what the boys had to say about Morrissey when asked... They don't know who he is, but they love him anyway, whether he wants to eat vegetables or not... Phil said,

We don't hold it against him at all, whoever he is, we love him as our neighbor, hey."

I do love the way Kimmell and the Duck Dynasty boys dug at the Morrissey camp though. Did you know that "Duck Commander" had a call for vegetarians? The Carrot Call...
