Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson To Play Charley Pride

At first this seems as silly as a WWF/E plot line. Then when it suddenly sinks in, you're left thinking 'Shut The Front Door!'

Dwayne Johnson, A.K.A. 'The Rock,' is set to portray legendary crooner and Country Music Hall of Fame member, Charley Pride, in a new movie headed for the big screen.

I'd be more than happy to believe this is April 1st, but Variety is indeed reporting that Dwayne Johnson, in addition to producing the bio pic, will star in the leading role due to actor Terrence Howard dropping out of the project because of a scheduling conflict.

What's next--Garth Brooks playing Shaquille O'Neal? What about Darius Rucker? Shouldn't Dwayne be working on that exciting sequel to The Tooth Fairy? Did Charley have an eyebrow thing that I didn't know about? So many questions, so little time.
