A Casper teenager is accused of robbing a federal credit union.

Seventeen year old Dillon Martin is charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault.

Investigators say in late August, Martin entered the River Rail Community Federal Credit Union on South Wolcott Street in Casper, pointed a knife at employees and told them to fill up the back-pack.

He then fled the area, and police were unable to find him.

Earlier this week, detectives received information that Martin had recently been spending a large sum of money around town, including $10,000 in cash for a car, as well as new expensive clothes and was not working.

When interviewed, Martin confessed to the robbery and that he was acting alone at the time.

He is being held on $50,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face between 5-to-25 years in prison for the armed robbery charge, and up to 10 years on the aggravated assault charge if convicted.

Prosecutors say he will be tried as an adult.
