New footage from the 2011 CMA Awards rehearsals has emerged, featuring country’s top stars getting ready  for Wednesday’s show. Spotlights ablaze, hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley warm up for their duet ‘Remind Me’ and Faith Hill prepares for the premiere of her long-awaited new single ‘Come Home’ in the video seen below.

Performing in front of a covered wagon, the Band Perry test their solid harmonies on ‘All Your Life,’ the first love song from their 2010 self-titled release. “It’s always been like the Super Bowl in our household,” Kimberly Perry says of the CMA Awards. “We would always — when we would watch at home — grab a pizza, all come in front of the TV as a family, make a night of it.” The family band says their CMA stage is meant to recreate their ‘All Your Life’ video, in which they play the part of traveling performers in the Dust Bowl era.

This behind-the-scenes video also captures Martina McBride rehearsing her heartstring tugging ‘I’m Gonna Love You Through It,’ which narrates the story of a mother of three battling cancer.

Paisley and Underwood sit down to give an update on this year’s show, and the hosts say it’s shaping up to be some of the most fun they’ve ever had onstage together. “I think a lot of us are in a little bubble and we don’t pay attention to what other artists are doing all that often, and it’s kind of nice to see on a night like this,” says Paisley. Asked who they’re most excited to see this year, Paisley pauses indecisively before Underwood interjects her two cents: “I always look forward to seeing Brad Paisley.”
