You know that the holiday season has begun when the Teddy Bear Tea and the Festival of Trees shows up on your calendar.

The Festival of Trees is the major fundraiser for Special Olympics Wyoming for the year.The Teddy Bear Tea starts it all on Sunday, November 27th at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming.The Teddy Bear Tea is a perennial favorite for the younger members of our community to come out and ooohhh and aaahhh over the 30 plus trees and wreathes being presented for the Festival of Trees. It starts at 1PM on Sunday and will run thru 3PM. Santa and Mrs Claus will be on hand for pictures, there will be hot chocolate and cookies and of couse the winter wonderland of trees and decorations and the admission is just a NEW teddy bear. All of these teddy bears will be used to adorn a couple of trees to be auctioned off at the Festival of Trees.
The Festival of Trees will be Tuesday, November 29th also at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming. The festival gets underway at 6PM with over 15 food vendors serving up some great holiday nibbles and a cash bar is also available. At 7PM auctioneer Dan Sullivan takes over with 40 packages to be auctioned including a trip to Cabo, ski trips, fishing trips and of course the trees.
