First Apperance For Full Face Transplant Patient [VIDEO]

A few weeks ago, I posted a story (Full Face Transplant Performed in the US) about a man who was severely burned when he accidentally came in contact with a high voltage wire. The man's name was Dallas Wiens, a 26 year old Texas man, who recently went to a Boston to under go the first full facial transplant in the United States.

Dallas under went 15 hours of surgery to repair the damage done to his face and nerve endings, plus attaching the new face and muscle tissue taken from an anonymous donor.

On Monday, Dallas made his first public appearance and spoke of the surgery and his future plans.

He commented that the most rewarding part of his journey so far has been his reunion with his pre-school daughter.
