The Fort Caspar Museum Association announces its spring Lunch & Learn program to be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, beginning at noon.

Fort Caspar Museum's Manager Rick Young will present "The History of Fort Caspar and the Evolution of the Museum." The presentation is free with the optional paid lunch or free with paid museum admission. (Reservations are required for lunch and requested for the lecture.)

Mr. Young has worked at Fort Caspar Museum since 1985. He will present the history of both old Fort CaspEr and Fort CaspAr, as well as the evolution of the museum, from its first incarnation at the Fort in 1929 to the two-tiered expansion of the 1982 stand-alone building that visitors experience today.

The optional lunch will begin at noon. We are offering a buffet-style meal of fried chicken, sides, desserts, and beverages with an RSVP by Thursday, April 9th. The cost for lunch is $5.00 for Museum Members and $8.00 for non-members; reserve your space in advance, but please plan to pay at the door. The presentation begins at 1:00 pm. Those who choose not to participate in lunch may attend the lecture for free after paying museum admission ($1.50 for adults; $1 for youth ages 13 to 18 years; and children 12 and under are free).

Again, please call the Museum by April 9th, to reserve a spot at the lunch: 235-8462.
