A sharp-eyed traveler watching the storm clouds Wednesday spotted a small, but definite funnel cloud. These pictures were taken by Amber Boultenhouse around 4:40 p.m. as she was traveling on I-25 in Converse County just south of Glenrock.

K2 Radio Meteorologist Don Day confirms the pictures show what he describes as a "baby" funnel cloud. The severe thunderstorms that moved through Natrona County and the surrounding areas earlier in the week produced hail and torrential rain, prompting severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings.

The current weather forecast calls for dry and warm conditions into the weekend, with cooler weather on the way next week. You can find the latest weather forecast HERE.
