Graduation season is here, and Casper's High Schools will be holding their ceremonies at the end of this month.

Earlier this year, the District announced they would avoid holding graduation ceremonies on Memorial Day, a decision that was made after receiving negative feedback for previously scheduling graduation on the Holiday.

The School District said in a statement that they wanted to honor the sacrifices made by servicemen and women, and moving the ceremonies off of Memorial Day was both a community and District priority. They worked collaboratively with Spectra, the new management company of the Casper Events Center, to come up with the alternate dates for the ceremonies.

The 2017 graduation ceremonies are schedule as follows:

  • Natrona County High School - Thursday, May 25th, 7:30 p.m., Casper Events Center
  • Roosevelt High School - Friday, May 26th, 3:00 p.m., Casper Events Center
  • Kelly Walsh High School - Friday, May 26th, 7:30 p.m., Casper Events Center
  • Midwest High School - Sunday, May 28th, 2:00 p.m., Wheeler Concert Hall, Casper College
