He’s Okay, By George!

If you're a George Jones fan, your heart might have skipped a beat when you learned that he was admitted to a Nashville hospital last night.

We're pleased to report that the "Old Possum" is doing just fine.

According to his website, George was only there for his annual health checkup.  He did end up spending the night.  George said, "I just decided I didn't want to drive back to Franklin in this cold weather.  So I guess I'll just stay here overnight and go home tomorrow."

George, 79, continues to tour and has an appearance slated for March 12th at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
