Aside from yelling from inside your car about how stupid other drivers are around you, how educated are residents of the Cowboy State?

WalletHub conducted a recent education survey and ranked each state based on several criteria.  They collected data in the following areas - percentage of adults 25 and older with at least a high school diploma, average university quality and gender gap in education level.

The good news is that Wyoming isn't at the bottom of the list, but it's not at the top of the list either.  In fact, Wyoming ranks 25th overall so we're right in the middle.

Wyoming was slightly behind North Dakota and Wisconsin, but slightly ahead of Iowa and Michigan.

Here are the top 5 and bottom 5 states when it comes to educated adults.

You might be able to guess the bottom 5 - (46) Kentucky, (47) Arkansas, (48) Louisiana,  (49) Mississippi,  (50) West Virginia

Here are the 5 most educated states - (5) Vermont, (4) Connecticut, (3) Colorado, (2) Maryland, (1) Massachusetts.
