Mensa considers a genius to be be someone with an IQ above 130; or approximately, the top two percent of Americans.

By that logic, we can assume that one of out every 50 people is a genius.

With a population of 584,153, we can estimate there are nearly 11,700 bonafide geniuses here in Wyoming.

If you're able pass the test and willing to pay the membership fee, you can officially prove your intelligence by joining Mensa.

The Wyoming Mountain Mensa chapter counts 71 members among their ranks. This year, Wyoming Mensa members were given the prestigious Emerald Award, recognizing their involvement in community and statewide events and projects.

The organization also offers an annual scholarship to budding geniuses attending the University of Wyoming.
