Law enforcement will have an increased presence at Kelly Walsh High School on Thursday following a report of an alleged threat to students.

The threat was investigated by law enforcement, and it was determined that no threat was posed to student or staff safety, according to the Natrona County School District.

"NCSD's dedication to the safety of students and staff remains our primary focus," reads an email from district officials sent to parents Wednesday evening.

District officials learned of the threat after school hours on Wednesday.

This story will be updated as details emerge.

It's the second report involving law enforcement to make headlines this week, following an alleged sexual assault against a female student in the school parking lot shortly before noon Monday.

Police stepped up their presence at the school following that report, as well.
