A Cheyenne Police Officer reported a fist fight at the busy area of Converse and Lincolnway, yesterday.

Police said two men fled in their respective cars, a silver truck and a dark SUV, after they got into a scuffle near the busy intersection. Fists flew, and then people fled.

Is Cheyenne still stuck in the wild west mentality or is this just a typical example of road rage that happens across the country?

There have been incidents throughout the U.S, in which such road rage type actions have left people dead. Not only that, some studies report that two out of every three traffic fatalities are because of aggressive driving.

Insurance company AAA advises these tips to avoid a road rage incident:

1. Do not offend people by making them unnecessarily brake or switch lanes.

2. If something happens, just let it go.

3. Refuse to respond to the aggressor.
