Jed Clampet Makes The Top 5 Wealthiest Fictional Characters

Forbes.com just released their annual list of the 15 richest fictional characters.  This year the richest is - Smaug, the dragon from The Hobbit, who has $62 billion in gold and treasure.

#2 - Flintheart Glomgold, Scrooge McDuck's rival in the cartoons and comics, $51.9 billion in diamonds.

#3 - Carlisle Cullen from Twilight, $36.3 billion.

#4 - Jed Clampet, from the Beverly Hillbillies, $9.8 billion in oil

#5 - Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, $9.3 billion.
