For the second year in a row, the Casper College Veterans Club will be celebrating Veterans Day with a Veterans Ball.

Casper College is repeatedly named as one of the best "Veteran Friendly" community colleges in the United States, and for a good reason. According to current club president Caleb Lindsey, there are many of the 1400 Casper College students affected by the veterans club.

Officially it's about 350, give or take, we represent any military affiliated students, whether they check that box when they're applying or not. So, that includes, for me it's back to grandparents. So we represent all those students as well. I think personally that number is closer to 500.

November 11th is set aside to pay tribute to those that have served in the United States military, and you're invited to do just that at the Ramkota Hotel beginning at 5pm. The nights proceeds go to help send veteran students at Casper College to the 'Student Veterans of America' National Convention in January.

At the convention, the student vets come together to help build relationships for the veteran's future. Which may include future employment with companies like Boeing, Disney and Raytheon.

To attend, you don't have to be a veteran, anyone is invited to the Third Annual Veterans Ball on November 11th. Tickets are $60 for a single, $100 for a couple and tables of 8 can be purchased for $400. The table purchase gives you an option to help if you're not able to attend but still would like to support the veterans.

Each ticket includes, dinner, party favors and a night of fun.
