Want your say on wildlife? You can have a chance to meet the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission on an informal basis at an open house in Casper on Tuesday, November 13th.  Officials say Commissioners have been working with different sportsmen's groups to host the public open houses after their meetings, and Casper's will be hosted by the Muley Fanatic Foundation. The public, and especially youth guests, are encouraged to attend.

"It will be a fairly casual interaction that you can have with people, ask any questions, give them your thoughts and perceptions about things," says Janet Milek, Public Relations Specialist with Game and Fish. "That's what they're here for."  Milek says the Commission, appointed by the Governor, is their decision-making body. "We present a lot of our scientific data to our commission in these commission meetings and then they make a lot of the decisions for the management of Wyoming's wildlife, so they really are the figureheads and important people to know and give your information to."

Milek says the Muley Fanatic Foundation has donated four lifetime licenses for youth to be given away, and the young people must be present to win. The open house will be held at Casper's Game and Fish Office, 3030 Energy Lane, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

The Game and Fish Commission will be meeting November 13th and 14th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Casper, the public is invited to attend.
