After the Indiana State Fair stage collapsed on Saturday night, with all of the sound and lighting equipment crashing to the ground. The state fair re-opened today with a memorial service for those killed in the tragic accident.

Five people died and 45 others were injured after the structure used to support all of the stage equipment, came crashing down minutes prior to Sugarland taking the stage. The Marion County, Indiana coroner identified the victims as Tamy Vandam, Glenn Goodrich, Alina Bigjohny, Christina Santiago and Nathan Byrd.

Family and friends of victims plus hundreds of others from the community gathered today to mourn the loss of victims and pray for those injured and all of the families involved.

Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles posted on the band's website;
"there are no words to process a moment of this magnitude and gravity. There are only prayers for peace in the hearts of the bereft, and prayers of thanksgiving for those who were spared or safe. A piece of our heart is left in that grandstand."

Sugarland has cancelled their next concert which was scheduled at the Iowa State Fair.

Two other concerts have been canceled including Janet Jackson's Wednesday night show and Friday's Lady Antebellum concert.  All other upcoming concerts for the Indiana state fair will be relocated to another venue as officials continue to investigate Saturday's tragedy.
