Reports are coming in that troubled country singing star Mindy McCready is reported to have committed suicide in Arkansas earlier today.

McCready is reported to have shot and killed herself in Heber Springs Arkansas. Neighbors reported hearing shots fired. Authorities found that she had shot the family dog, then herself.

February 6, McCready was court-ordered to be committed into a medical facility after members of her family complained that she was unable to care for her children. Then just a day later, (Feb 9) McCready was released to outpatient treatment when doctors determined that she did not show symptoms of being an alcoholic.

McCready's life has been troubled to say the least. Problems with relationships, Human Services taking her children and other family issues, and these recent issues with the Cleburne County Arkansas investigation into the January death of her boyfriend David Wilson. Wilson was the father of McCready's 9-month-old son.

Mindy McCready was 37-years-old, and leaves behind two young sons six-year-old Zander and 9-month-old Zayne.
