A South Dakota murder suspect is behind bars after leading Nebraska and Wyoming authorities on a high-speed pursuit Wednesday night.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant David Wagener says 21-year-old Jared Stone of Sioux Falls was arrested on I-80 near Pine Bluffs around 10:00 p.m.

"Our troopers were able to set up stop sticks right at the Wyoming/Nebraska state line," said Wagener. "Troopers were successful at deflating multiple tires."

Stone did continue westbound on I-80 for approximately 10 miles before stopping.

"He remained in the vehicle for about 25 minutes before he surrendered without incident," said Wagener. "No one was hurt or injured in that process."

Stone was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on a homicide warrant out of Sioux Falls. He was also charged locally for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (suspected methamphetamine), eluding and three other traffic violations.

Stone is wanted in the killing of 28-year-old Baptiste White Eyes, who was shot in the head outside a Sioux Falls casino Friday.

Police haven't commented on the relationship between Stone and White Eyes other than that they knew one another. Authorities don't believe the shooting was random.

Authorities in Iowa on Tuesday arrested a woman believed to be an accessory.
