First it was the mouse.

Then it was the bullets.

An employee of Holly Energy Co., notified the Natrona County Sheriff's Office about property damage to a substation it owns off Wyoming Highway 220 west of Casper, according to an incident report filed Tuesday.

A deputy responded and talked to the employee.

On Dec. 8, the employee said he checked the substation and everything was fine.

Four days later, he returned and found it was really hot, so he contacted a refrigeration business to determine the problem.

On Dec. 18, the refrigeration company found a mouse had damaged some equipment.

On Jan. 4, the company returned to repair the equipment and one of its employees noticed six bullet holes in the radiator for the air conditioner.

The Holly Energy Co., employee told the deputy on Tuesday he didn't know who could have damaged the air conditioner.

The deputy couldn't find any spent rounds or shell casings.

The employee took pictures of the damage for his employer, and said the company just wanted the incident documented for insurance purposes.
