Natrona County High School received a $500,000 donation from a graduate for new scoreboards, the donor and school officials said during a news conference Friday.

Tony Cercy and his wife Caryl presented a check for $500,000 for five new scoreboards during the news conference held in the auditorium.

"It's just our pleasure to be able to help and give back," Tony Cercy said.

One of the scoreboards will be better than any other high school scoreboard in Wyoming, a school official said.

The Cercys graduated from NCHS in 1980.Three of their children have graduated from there, too.

NCHS athletic director Larry Meeboer said the donation will meet the scoreboard needs for the Mustang Activity Center, football field and gymnasium.
